Sometimes I just can’t work if I’m not making a mess. I’m pretty sure my scissors are somewhere buried under those papers, but messes are good. They fire up my creativity and inspire me. Messes help me break free from the constraints of perfectionism. When I’m not worrying about keeping my desk clean, I able to focus on the task at hand and think outside of the box. Sure, it might look like a tornado just stormed through my desk, but hey, sometimes even mess itself is inspiring. And don’t worry, I always clean up…eventually.
Every Wednesday I’ll share a snapshot into my workspace. I’d love to see where your space as well! Feel free to link up in the comments (by linking up directly to your blog post).
